Fazle Chowdhury Announces “Tales from Another Time”

New short story collection explores themes of memory, loss, and identity

NEW YORK, NY, November 30, 2025 — Author Fazle Chowdhury announced the upcoming release of his new short story collection, Tales from Another Time: 25 Short Stories, a literary work examining themes of identity, displacement, memory, and moral conflict. The hardcover edition is scheduled for release on February 14, 2026.

The collection features twenty-five interconnected stories set against the backdrop of covert intelligence work, historical transitions, and emotional loss. The narratives explore the personal cost of secrecy, fractured loyalties, and the ethical challenges faced by individuals living in concealed environments.

“Tales from Another Time reflects years of research and observation,” said Fazle Chowdhury, author of the collection. “These stories examine how personal histories and global events shape individual choices, and how unresolved memory influences identity.”

Chowdhury’s earlier literary works include The Other Side of Eden and Finding Alexey, both of which focused on themes of exile, trauma, and ethical conflict. His nonfiction works have examined geopolitical developments in regions such as Ukraine and Iran, as well as historical perspectives on colonial impact.

The short story collection continues this thematic direction, presenting narratives centered on emotional endurance, interpersonal trust, and psychological resilience.
